Rigidal Industries completed their new Factory and Office facility in May 2006.
Our site is based on a 25,000m2 plot on the prestigious Dubai Investments Park. This purpose built industrial facility is immediately adjacent to Dubai’s new World City Airport at Jebel Ali and further enjoys a direct link to the major trunk roads including Emirates Road and the new Dubai Outer Bypass.
Close proximity to Jebel Ali Port, facilitates easy importation and subsequent exportation of raw materials and finished goods.
Rigidal Industries’ state of the art Factory includes comprehensive overhead crane coverage throughout the entire shop floor.
The roofing and side wall design is befitting the region’s premier supplier of roofing and cladding systems.
The 7,500m2 roof is finished with Rigidal’s premier flagship, Ziplok Roofing System, combined with a heavy duty gauge aluminium liner sheet and rockwool insulation, to provide excellent acoustic and thermal insulation.
The side wall cladding incorporates internal perforated cassettes together with Rigidal’s flagship HC35/800MR horizontally laid wall panel. The perforated internal liner cassettes ensure that acoustic reverberation is reduced dramatically, maintaining a degree of quietness within the factory that is rarely experienced in today’s aggressive industrial environment.
Rigidal Industries further incorporated several other innovative design facilities to humanize the environment for the shop floor workforce. Massive 750mm throat aerodynamically designed ridge ventilators, ensure that the hot air is exhausted from the building with greater efficiency. 15 % translucent twin skin roof lights, ensure the maximum usage of natural sun light to lift the spirit of the workforce. The entire surface appearance of the steelwork and lining sheet on both roof and verticals, is finished in RAL 9010 White, giving the overall appearance of a clean and bright working environment.
Externally, the brilliant highly reflective Silver metallic cladding has been laid to a chevron pattern on the gables and the major flashings and edge finish on the building have been designed in bright RAL 3002 Red, to give an exceptionally pleasing architectural appearance.
The spacious 750m2 two-storey office building is clad with state of the art CENTRIA Formawall flat thermally insulated cladding panels.
The humanizing of the workplace is continued in the office design. A first floor level balcony surrounds the executive offices and tilt and slide UPVC doors on the first floor allow access to the balcony for fresh air during rest periods.
All offices on the first floor feature unique sun pipes illumination, ensuring the majority light in the offices is natural. The sun pipes collect natural sun light via acrylic pyramid domes at roof level. The domes are hermetically sealed to mirrored tubes and diffused light dispensers at false ceiling level in the offices.
Marble floors and sweeping wooden staircases give the offices a warm and homely feel.
A tiled roof top terrace shaded by a futuristic canopy design, affords an exclusive entertainment area with panoramic desert views, for times of relaxation.
