This stunning new development built alongside Dubai’s Creek, comprises of a waterfront shopping development with some of the leading car manufacturers showrooms.The roofs, where the various concept designs, conceived by HOK architects, constructed by Al Futaim Carrillion and clad by Messrs CKK of Dubai have been clad with Rigidal Industries LLC innovative Ziplok standing seam cladding system which includes both thermal and acoustic insulation materials each of which are supported of one of Rigidals extensive range of structural perforated decking sheets.

The Ziplok sheets were manufactured on site at roof level due to restricted access and the physical length of the sheets some of which exceed 60 metres in length.

Traditional manufacturing techniques at ground level would have left the contractor with the extremely difficult and costly task of moving finished sheets to roof level.

A number of the roof designs encompassed complex shapes , but with the expertise of Rigidals in house design team these difficulties were overcome.

In addition to the roofing system Rigidal supplied a number of complicated aluminium fabricated flashings all of which were manufactured in their new factory at Dubai Investment Park
